The Tambaqui Alliance (also known as the All-Male Alliance or Men's Alliance), was an alliance formed on Day 3 in Survivor: The Amazon by Tambaqui member Isaiah.
Alliance History
The alliance began forming early on during the season after Isaiah became paranoid that tribe members Jody and Ceri were related (believing it to be a secret twist within the season). Isaiah's misguided beliefs led him to start a witch hunt against Jody, creating a divide in Tambaqui. After the group lost the first immunity challenge on day three, Fredrick, Hall, Mayson and Sheamus joined Isaiah to create a majority alliance of five. The group would control the Tambaqui tribe throughout the pre-swap phase of the game, eliminating Kennedy after losing their second immunity challenge on day twelve.
After the alliance was separated during the tribe swap, all the members began creating side-deals in order to gain a greater influence on the game (despite assuring one another that they would come together at the merge to become the final five). Ceri found himself working more closely with Hall and Mayson, helping to convince Delma and Edweena to betray Jayla on day fifteen. Once the new-Tambaqui tribe lost again, Ceri tried to once again break apart the alliance, this time causing his demise after Delma and Edweena sided with the alliance. Meanwhile, Fredrick, Isaiah and Sheamus opted to reneged from the alliance and instead join up with Jenn and Neasa, creating the Jaburu Five.
At the merge, Hall and Mayson fruitlessly continued to fight for the Tambaqui alliance to become the final five, going as far to betray the Older Women's Alliance in doing so. However, the pair were later revealed to be at the mercy of the new Jaburu Five alliance, with Mayson being unanimously voted out of the game after Hall's evacuation.
The final three members of the alliance (now apart of the Jaburu Five) decided initially they would stick together. Nevertheless, Fredrick's concerns over Sheamus' ability to easily win the game led him to betray both him and Isaiah at the final five; before later being voted out in third place after losing the final immunity challenge.
